ABOUT THE MURAL:
This massive mural is located on the South-facing wall of Mano’s Wine in KC’s East Crossroads, it is distinctly visible from Hospital Hill; a refreshing view for anyone in a hospital room with northern windows!
From the artist: “The Climate is changing, the Planet is changing, its giving us warnings and we ain't hearing them.. ..Could of painted a wall to tell you about how bad the situation of the Planet is, about how the Ice is near critical return and the corals will all die in 2', that animal species are disappearing so fast it's now called the 6th Great Extinction [the first Human caused one].. the Forest lungs of the planet are shrinking dramatically and the Ocean is suffering to breath with all the plastic infesting it, or, instead, could just paint a wall about being at the beach.. cause really, if the planet keeps heading in the way we’re steering it, the Ocean might rise enough that there is a beach, here in Kansas City.. [This town is in the middle of the American continent], and then we can all sunbathe with our phones and bottled water, and chill out like nothing is wrong…” - Dside
